Aloha Dear One.
And Welcome! You are reading the first episode in the Series - Finding Your Way When Everything Is Changing—a Heart of Aloha Blog Series for the Woman in Midlife or Beyond.

I'm Kumu Kaleo Wheeler, a Spiritual Teacher, Voice Medicine Guide, Speaker/Storyteller and keeper of the ancient Hawaiian lineage of Aloha Lōkahi.
This written series is the companion to my podcast, Her Voice Rising: Trust Your Inner Knowing, where these same teachings are spoken aloud. If you prefer to listen to this specific message, you can listen to the full audio for Episode 1: Trusting in Your Inner Knowing in Uncertain Times right here:

If you have found your way here today, I have a sense that something in your life is asking for your attention.
Maybe you are feeling an exhaustion that sleep just cannot fix. Maybe the world around you feels like it is spinning faster than you can keep up with, and no matter how hard you try to hold it all together, something keeps slipping. Maybe you have been doing all the right things, and yet something inside still feels deeply off.
And if you are a woman in midlife or beyond, there is something else moving beneath all of that too. Your own sacred transition — the wise woman, the Kūpuna within you — beginning to awaken and push you toward something new, right while the world around us goes through its own massive transformation.
Two great tides meeting at once. And you are standing right in the middle of them.
What you are feeling is not weakness. It is not a personal failure. There is nothing wrong with you.
It is simply a mismatch between the moment you are in and the tools you have been given to meet it. You cannot navigate a world that is transforming using the map of the world that is falling away. And that mismatch is what is causing the deep exhaustion and burnout so many women are carrying right now.
There is another way. And it has been here all along.
The Heart of Aloha
Aloha is far more than a Hawaiian greeting. It is something you live, practice, and embody — moment to moment.
The Heart of Aloha system is rooted in the ancient Hawaiian teachings of Living Aloha — an ancient roadmap for navigating this time of uncertainty and change. These teachings come from my teacher Kumu Mahealani Kuamo'o Henry — a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) whose family lineage kept this ancient wisdom hidden and protected for generations until now, when it is so needed in our world. With Aunty now in the spirit realm, it is my honor to carry these teachings forward to those who are ready to receive them.
This is not about fixing what is wrong with you. There is nothing wrong with you. This is an invitation to remember who you have always been — and to begin living from that place.
The Three Keys
At the heart of this system are three living keys that together create a complete pathway — available in every breath, in every moment, no matter what is spinning in the world around you.
Key 1 — Aloha Lōkahi: Living in Love and UnityLiving in love and unity with who you truly are beneath all the old conditioning. This is your Mana Iho — your Inner Brilliance, the deep inner knowing and authority that has always been within you. The foundation of everything.
Key 2 — Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala: Making Right More Right, The PathA Living Path rooted in the self-acceptance of your true innate perfection. Knowing that you are a Spiritual Being who has chosen to come into this human experience to grow and evolve even more into your Spirit Greatness. Not fixing the past — returning, moment by moment, to the truth of who you already are.
Key 3 — Kānāwai Moaka'aka: The Hawaiian Smiling Law of AttractionWhat you are choosing, speaking, and feeling moment to moment shapes your lived reality. Your voice becomes a living language — the expression of your Mana Iho, your true authentic self, as the Master Creator of the life you choose.
Speak Yourself Home
When these three keys come into alignment within you — something shifts. You are no longer trying to figure life out from your head. With your heart, your mind, and your spirit moving together, you begin living as the Kūpuna you are in this season of your life — bringing your wisdom and your gifts forward into this global transformation and stepping into the life you now choose to have.
This is what Speak Yourself Home means. Not performing. Not pushing. Coming home — through your own voice, to your own truth, in your own time.
A Reflection to Sit With
Where in your life right now are you still trying to navigate with the old map — the one from your conditioning that no longer works — and what might it feel like to simply put that map down and let another guide you forward?
Just let it sit with you. Let your own inner knowing begin to speak
This Week's Pono Card — Ka Mea Nana I Hana, Creator — Card #8
I want to close by drawing from the Pono Cards — the that are the words of Kumu Mahealani Kuamo'o Henry — and leaving you with this week's card.
"You are a mindful creator for the highest good, rather than a mindless creator of fears and limitations. As a mindful creator, you activate the power within you to freely create the thoughts and feelings for manifesting positive experiences. Your job is to create and nurture Pono — living in complete harmony with yourself, others, and the world around you — without dictating the ways and means for results. Choose now to be open to trust and in readiness for the opportunities."
Your practice this week is simple:
In this moment — knowing you are already a creator — what are you choosing to create?
Just let it sit with you.
Walking the Path Together
Over the coming weeks, we will walk together through all of the 7 Episodes, covering the 3 Keys, until we weave them into the unshakeable anchor that becomes your firm ground, no matter what is spinning in the world around you.
In our next blog, we will be stepping deeply into the First Key—Aloha Lōkahi: Living in Love and Unity.
And if and whenever you are ready, the door at theheartofaloha.com is always open for you to join our ‘Ohana – our Community.
Mahalo Dear One. For being here. For saying yes to yourself today.
A Hui Hou! (until we meet again)
Me Ke Aloha Mau Loa — With Love Always,
Kumu Kaleo
