Being All You Can Be
Ancient Hawaiian Spiritual Wisdom
Rev Kaleo Wheeler
Kaleonahenaheonalani (Kaleo) is a Hawaiian Spiritual Teacher/Mentor, Inspirational Speaker/Storyteller, Ceremonialist, and Ordained Minister. She also teaches Hawaiian Embodied Spirituality through Sacred Hula.
Kaleo’s passion and dedication is to help women to Step into Their True and Authentic Self, Be their Self-Greatness and Live in Joy, Harmony and Well Being.
Her dedication to this comes from her own personal experience of trauma early in her life that started her on a spiritual journey to find answers and healing for herself. That journey led her to study and explore several different indigenous cultures, as well as several modern body/mind integration techniques. What she shares now in helping other women is what helped her in her own life and healing in the last 30 + years, with the foundation coming from the ancient Hawaiian Spiritual and Pragmatic Teachings of Aloha Lokahi (Love & Unity) and Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala,(making right more right, the Path).
Her journey with this ancient Hawaiian wisdom began In the late 80’s. Kaleo was drawn to Hula, the Hawaiian Sacred Dance of the Heart. Hula helped her to heal her relationship with her body and her spirit from the early trauma she experienced. This led her to an extensive study of the ancient Hawaiian wisdom and spirituality, that continues into today. She has been fortunate and blessed to have lived and studied with Hawaiian Kumu Hula (Master Teachers of Hula) both in Hawai’i and on the Mainland. They include Aloha Dalire, Lehua Kawaikapuokalani (Hewett), Susan Floyd and Keith Awai. She studied Huna with Serge Kahili King and Hawaiian Spirituality with Kahiliopua (Pua) Wong-Brentlinger, Aunty Pua gifted her with her name, which means "The Warm and Comforting Voice of the Universe". She currently studies Hawaiian Spiritually with Kumu Mahealani Kuamo'o Henry ('Elele o Na Kupuna - Messenger of the Ancestors) and a Kanaka Maoli (a native Hawaiian)and Kumu La'akea Miles Geddes.
From 1985 until 1998, Kaleo apprenticed with Oh Shinnah Fastwolf, a Native American shaman. She is a Ceremonialist, conducting and ancient moon ceremony and rites of passage ceremonies in helping women to connect to their “Divine Feminine”. She has also poured for sweat lodges and been a pipe carrier. She has shared this with women in both the US and Canada.
