Hawaiian Sacred Hula
Embodied Spirituality

Hula is like a Breath of Life
Exquisitely E
mbodied andExpressed
in Patterns of Movement

Discover  Your Own Natural Rhythm and Beauty

No Prior Dance Experience Needed

Hula enables us to better understand our lives, and touches us in a way that deepens our understanding of ourselves and connects us to our true inner essence, especially as women.   It is symbolic of how we move in the world and interact with others.

Hula as Embodied Spirituality will help you to:

  • experience being in kinship with nature and your place within it, interpreting the world that you occupy more fully and authentically in the way you perceive it.

  • gently heal your relationship with your body to regard and embrace it in a positive and loving way, no matter your size or shape

  • whatever your ethnic heritage, dogma or age, build body confidence without changing a thing about you

  • discover your body as an instrument capable of describing the beauty of nature and creationrevealing the sacred in all things.

  •  find your way back to that place of stillness and inner peace within you

  • As storytelling, experience the beauty of these ancient chants and the frequency and vibration in the sacred words of this "Living Language" of Positivity, Love and Gratitude.  You will find your way back to live a life filled with wonder, rapture—and love for yourself and the world around you.

WITH ITS ROOTS GOING BACK TO ANCIENT TIMES,

HULA IS THE LIVING HISTORY OF THE HAWAIIAN PEOPLE

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE HAWAIIAN CULTURE

Testimonials

Dr. Jane Smolnik Boyd. Naturopath at Ultimate Healing, Asheville NC

I was thrilled to discover the beauty and sacredness of the Hawaiian Hula and it’s traditions! It is like a moving, flowing, dancing meditation, honoring Life, Love and the Great Spirit. Kaleo is a wonderful dedicated teacher with much passion for sharing the tradition with the stories, chants, and beautiful dance. I want to keep learning more hulas as each seems to be more beautiful and inspiring!

Learning to live Aloha has brought profound changes to my life, within a very short time.  The Hawaiian Hula is grounding and balancing to the mind and body - many physical "aches and pain" have been greatly reduced.  My self esteem has increased. Hula is supportive of curvaceous femininity.  I have made peace with my body, finally.  My health and body image are improving day by day.  Experiencing Hula under the direction of Hula Instructor, Kaleo  has definitely enhanced my life’s journey.

This is so beautifully healing.  I am currently in Kaleo's Hula class.  I have always had major, crippling body shame.  I am learning how to move in unison with my innate beauty.  This changes everything."
