In The Wisdom of Aloha
The Divine Feminine is: Remembering Our Interconnection and Oneness and How We Are Not Separate From Each Other and Creation It is our feelings, our insights, our ideas, our intuitive self, our hidden dreams - the creative self that is unique to each of us. It is the inequality in all things and to live with love, compassion, gratitude and blessing in our hearts. Today there is a resurgence of interest in the Divine Feminine. As we awaken from the repressions of the patriarchy we need to reclaim the Divine Feminine, also called the Divine Feminine, both for our individual spirituality and for the well-being of the planet. • Our ecological devastation points to a culture that has forgotten the sacredness of the earth and the Divine Mother, as well as denied the Feminine’s deep understanding of the wholeness and interconnectedness of all of life. • And our individual life, so often caught in addictions and starved of real meaning, has a hunger to reconnect with the soul, which has always had a feminine quality. • And linking our own journey and that of the world is the ancient feminine figure of the World Soul, the Anima Mundi, the spiritual presence within creation. So what does it mean to reclaim the Divine Feminine? How can we feel it in our bodies and in our daily life? • Every woman knows this mystery in the cycles of her body, which are linked to the greater rhythms of life, the cycles of the moon. • And she feels it in a calling to reconnect with the power and wisdom she carries within her, a deep knowing that is not found in books but belongs to her very nature. • The Feminine carries a natural understanding of the interconnectedness of life, and how all the parts belong together. • She instinctively knows how to respond to the needs of her children, and how she feels for their well-being even when they are not physically present. • And in her body, she carries the greatest mystery, the potential to give birth: to bring the light of a soul into this world. The Feminine is the matrix of creation. And yet we have forgotten, or been denied: • The depths of this mystery, of how the Divine Light of the soul creates a body in the womb of a woman, and • How the mother shares in this wonder, giving her own blood, her own body, to what will be born. Regardless of whether an individual woman has the physical experience of giving birth, she shares in this primal mystery and is empowered by it. Yet our culture’s focus on a disembodied, transcendent God has left women bereft, denying them the sacredness of this simple mystery of Divine Love. What we do not realize is that this patriarchal denial affects not only every woman but also life itself. • When we deny the Divine Mystery of the Feminine we also deny something fundamental to life. • We separate life from its Sacred Core, from the Matrix that nourishes all of creation. • We cut our world off from the Source that alone can heal, nourish, and transform it. • The same Sacred Source that gave birth to each of us is needed to give meaning to our life, to nourish it with what is real, and return us to a relationship with the wholeness of life. Of course, men also have a need to relate to the Divine Feminine, to be nourished by Her inner and outer presence. Without the Divine Feminine, nothing new can be born, and we see around us the sad plight of an over-dominant masculine culture destroying its own ecosystem, unable to even agree on the steps needed to limit global warming. We all need to reclaim the living power and transformative potential of the Divine Feminine, to feel Her connection to the Soul and the earth. And we desperately need the Ancient Wisdom of the Soul of the World to help us at this time of global crisis. Many times before, the World has been through an ecological crisis, and the World's Soul carries within Her the memories and wisdom we need. If we remain cut off in a mindset that sees this as a problem that we need to fix with the same masculine attitude that has caused the problem, we will just compound the crisis. Only through working together with the Divine Feminine, and then bringing it into a Balanced Union with the Divine Masculine, can we heal and transform the world. And this means to honor Her presence within our bodies and our soul, in the ground we walk on and the air we breathe.

In The Wisdom of Aloha
In these times that we find ourselves in today, it’s so easy to get swept up in the stress, anger, and uncertainty that seem to surround us. But what if we had a different way of seeing it all, a way to feel grounded, calm, and even hopeful? Ancient Hawaiian wisdom has so much to offer when it comes to finding peace in the midst of chaos. This wisdom of Aloha is all about living with love, connection, and balance, no matter what’s happening around us. And the best part? We can start living this way right now. 1. Start with Aloha – Living with Love and Compassion In Hawaiian culture, Aloha goes beyond a simple greeting. It’s a way of life, a deep sense of love and respect for all things, including yourself. When we’re dealing with uncertainty and turmoil, it’s so easy to close ourselves off, but the Aloha spirit encourages us to keep our hearts open. It’s about letting love lead us, even in difficult times. Start each day by consciously choosing to bring Aloha into every interaction, including the one you have with yourself. When things get stressful or tense, take a deep breath and ask yourself, “How can I respond with love here?” You’d be surprised how grounding it can feel. 2. Live with Pono – Finding Balance and Harmony Pono is all about living in a way that’s right, balanced, and in harmony. In our modern world, we often lean into the idea of “going all out,” of working hard, hustling, or even staying in a state of worry. But according to Hawaiian wisdom, balance is key. When we live out of balance—either overdoing it or not doing enough—our lives reflect that imbalance, often in the form of stress or feeling off-center To practice Pono, look at areas in your life where you might feel a little out of sync. Are you spending too much time working and not enough time taking care of yourself? Are you holding onto old resentments? By slowly bringing balance into these areas, we create harmony within, which helps us stay steady even when the world feels chaotic. 3. Embrace Mana – Honoring Your Inner Power Mana is the vital life force that flows within us and all around us. In Hawaiian culture, it’s believed that we each have Mana within us, and we strengthen it through our actions, thoughts, and choices. In times of uncertainty, it can feel like we have little control, but by taking care of our own Mana, we can show up stronger and more empowered. To build and honor your Mana, pay attention to what lifts you up and what drains you. This might mean setting boundaries or saying no to things that don’t serve you. It might also mean spending time doing things that make you feel alive—whether it’s being in nature, creating something, or connecting with loved ones. Your Mana grows when you’re true to yourself. 4. Practice Lokahi – Living in Unity and Connection One of the most beautiful aspects of Hawaiian wisdom is Lokahi, which means unity and connection. In our world, it’s easy to feel separate from others, especially when there’s so much division and unrest. But Lokahi reminds us that we’re all connected—to each other and to the world around us. To live Lokahi, find small ways to cultivate a sense of unity in your life. This could be as simple as smiling at a stranger, supporting a friend, or taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature. It’s about understanding that we’re all part of something bigger and letting that connection fill you with purpose and belonging. 5. Bring It All Together: Choose a Life of Aloha Each Day Living with Aloha isn’t about escaping the hard things; it’s about facing them with love, balance, and strength. It’s about choosing to embody the values of Pono, Mana, and Lokahi each day. When we bring these values into our lives, we’re not only changing ourselves but also sending out waves of positivity into the world around us. The ancient Hawaiian teachings are timeless because they remind us of something deeply human—that true peace comes from within. So next time you feel the weight of the world, remember these teachings. Ground yourself in Aloha, balance yourself with Pono, strengthen your inner power with Mana, and find connection in Lokahi. Through these simple yet powerful steps, you can navigate even the most uncertain times with a sense of calm and purpose.le anything that comes your way! Do You Know You are a Spiritual Being who has chosen to come in and be involved in this human experience to grow and evolve even more into your Spirit Greatness? Do you know your purpose in being here is to experience the joy in this dance of a balanced union between your Spirit and Human? It is what the ancient Hawaiian teachings call Aloha Lokahi – living in love and unity within ourselves and then with each other. Do you know that your True and Authentic Voice is the Voice of your Spirit Self, capable of speaking your truth with Confidence and Power to elicit respect and influence others to live in this human life in the way you choose? Yet, is this how you are living your life today? Is your voice instead sounding weak and small - or being totally silent According to Kumu Mahealani Kuamo’o Henry, a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian), this is "i ka pono mea" - all is in perfection - in perfect time, perfect place, perfect being. Kumu Mahealani's family lineage goes back to the original Hawaiian people and the Timeless Spiritual Teachings and Wisdom of Living Aloha and Ho’opono Pono Ke Ala, Making Right More Right the Path to accepting your Perfection and Spirit Greatness. Neil Donal Walsh, who wrote the book, Conversations with God, shared in his first book that living in this human world of duality, we sometimes have to experience who we are not to know who we are. An example of that is where we have been for many generations – living in the overly-controlled and overly-strong energy of the “masculine” causing its relative opposite, the “feminine” to become attached to the belief of being lesser than and weak, and without a voice. Many people today, especially those in a position of power, have forgotten their Spirit Self. They have become lost in the attachment to the materialism of just “being Human”. especially in having a thirst for more money and for more and more power as we see around us today. And with how extreme this imbalance has become, we can see how great the global Transformation that we are going through right now as we are moving into a new era of harmony, balance – and abundance. And it is women who will help bring our world into this new era by remembering who we are in our Mana Iho – with its Voice Speaking our Truth with Confidence and Power. This will naturally bring its relative opposite, the “masculine” back into a balanced Union with it. This is also why many indigenous spiritual teachers, as Kumu Mahealani, are sharing their ancient teachings that have been unavailable to us until now. They know we need these Timeless Spiritual Teachings to help us step into our Mana Iho and Ignite our Inner Brilliance that has been dimmed and maybe never ignited. It gives us a Road Map to follow in this Human/Spirit Journey in our Spirit Greatness. Welcome to Your Greatness! The Heart of Aloha ‘Ohana www.theheartofaloha.com

In The Wisdom of Aloha
Aunty Mahealani Kuamo’o Henry, a ninth-generation, native-Hawaiian elder, spoke about the ancient wisdom of Aloha Lokahi, that is a Hawaiian value system of love and unity. It is an ancient, practical set of principles that reminds us to respect the ‘aina, the land, to enjoy ‘ohana, the family, and to stand pono, correct in all our actions. You recognize that all things are in excellence, I ka pono. In the right place, right time, right being, until you think not. This was expressed through a form of Ho’oponopono called Ho’opono Pono Ke Ala — Making What is Already Right More Right, the Path. Many are surprised to learn about this form of Ho’oponopono that is rooted in the Aloha Spirit rather than in the Christian and Western adaptation for “conflict resolutions" that comes from the need to make what is wrong right through Forgiveness. Ho’opono Pono Ke Ala predates both adaptations. It brings forward Aloha for the self and to promote “self-best” through self-permission, to recognize and accept self-greatness”, and experience it moment-by-moment in all areas of one’s life. It lays to waste the “fear-based” and negative mindsets for power and control. It is the ancient knowing that you are obviously the best “you” ever, there are no duplicates, you’re It, the original YOU; the god-goddess makes no mistakes! The message of Aloha Lokahi is so simple you feel its truth. “We have all we need,” as Aunty would say; "but after we’ve been in this dimension for a while, we get so caught up in the human side of things; we forget the Lokahi, the unity with Spirit.” Some people have become so alienated that they are destroying our own life-support systems on the planet, as we see so much today. Through Aloha, many people can reconnect with Spirit and rebound from this suicidal alienation, because it’s not a religion and not nationalistic, but universal. The word Aloha comes from Hawai‘i, but the Spirit of Aloha—Love—is Universal. “Aloha is the heavenly energy we must feel in an all-too-human world in order to feel whole. Spirit and human come together as we walk the path of life. If you forget about Aloha, you feel alone on the life journey, but the ancestors will help you. They’ll never abandon you.” Like the Balinese, Native American, and African cultures, traditional Hawaiians believe Ancestral Spirits counsel, caution, and help weave our lives with unseen, loving hands. The Wise Ones, Aumakua, have only “changed address,” says Aunty, who has also changed address and is now in the Spirit Realm; and they still speak to us through images, intuition, and nature’s movements, as she is now doing. Scientific research is finally catching up with Hawaiian spirituality. According to quantum physics and evolutionary ecology, at least three to five atoms you just inhaled were once a part of the body of the Buddha, Jesus, or Queen Liliuokalani, the last queen of Hawai’i. “So again, it’s about how much of those other influences you want to make a part of your life. Or not.” The most important Mo’olelo, stories are those that maintain harmony, buoyancy, and an uplifting attitude that begins within and radiates to the world around us. Aunty Mahealani said she learned this from her grandfather. “He learned it from Kumu Élili o na Kupuna, the Source Teacher and Messenger for the Ancient Ones.” One day he drew a circle in the sand and said, “This is your center….this O. Around that, he drew another circle, and said, “This is mass society.” “You are responsible for the Aloha in here, in your center,” Aunty says, placing her hand on her heart. Her Aloha was tested, but not defeated, when the State of Hawai‘i decided to cancel leases to Hawaiians on Hawaiian homelands in Puna. In the tradition of Gandhi and the Dalai Lama, she counseled peaceful means, Aloha, and the staging of a gala lu‘au to bring everyone to a consensual agreement. "Instead of fighting them and losing my own Aloha, I helped educate them to not take back lands that never were the State of Hawaii’s to give or take in the first place,” she says. “The Kupuna (Ancestors) led me to put together a program that was strictly about Aloha.” And it worked. As the president of the Hawaiian Homelands group, Kulana, she orchestrated a new balance of power between the State of Hawai‘i and Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians). We stay Pono through awareness of the stories we’re telling ourselves, the Mo‘olelo. If you’re going the Hawaiian way, with the purity of Aloha Spiritual Values for self, others, and the environment; you see the universe as perfect. If Aunty is starting to sound like Maui’s mate, a Superwoman who captured not only the sun, but eternal delight, and who is continuing to fly around the world, now from the Spirit Realm, sharing this Superwisdom with the world; so be it. I think Aunty would say we’re all supermen and superwomen, all carriers of the light, so pick up your capes and wings, and take flight. One more thought from Aunty on Ho’opono Pono Ke Ala, this belief system and method for “making right more right, the path". The ancient Hawaiians, once so enlightened by the Aloha Spirit concepts and practices, believed that all things, all conditions, all people, and all of nature were/ are in PONO - excellence, rightness. And thought, that “changes” are normal occurrences indicating needs for adjustments in making Pono more Pono – right, more right in the never-ending flow for growth and evolvement.
