The 3rd Saturday of Each Month 11:30 - 1:30pm The Next Class: Saturday, November 18 WITH ITS ROOTS GOING BACK TO ANCIENT TIMES, HULA IS THE LIVING HISTORY OF THE HAWAIIAN PEOPLE AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE HAWAIIAN CULTURE ​HULA IS: Therapeutic and sacred dance, with its movements helping you to discover how your body wants to move and low with the natural rhythm of Nature An energy dance, similar to Tai Chi, bringing your energy body and your body, mind and spirit into a calm and balanced place A spiritual practice, in experiencing the beauty of these ancient chants and the frequency and vibration in the sacred words as a "Living Language" of Positivity, Love, Acceptance and Gratitude, to live a life filled with wonder, rapture - and love for yourself and the world around you An ancient form of storytelling and the living history of the Hawaiian culture, with the opportunity to come to know and respect who the Hawaiian people are and the world they have lived in for so many generations. ​AS EMBODIED SPIRITUALITY: ❤️Experience being in kinship with Nature and your place within it, interpreting the world that you occupay more fully and authentically in the way your perceive it 🧡gently heal your relationship with our body to reard and embrace it in a positive and loving way, no matter your size or shape 💛whatever your ethnic heritage, dogma or age, build body confidence without changing a thing about you 💚Express your creativity in telling stories with your arms and hands and discover your body as an instrument capable of describing the beauty of nature and creation, revealing the sacred in all things 💙Find your way back to that place of stillness and inner peace within you 💜Being symbolic of how you move in your world, it enables you to better understand your life, touching you in a way that deepens your understanding of yourself and connecting you to your True Inner Essence and Authentic Self AND ANYONE CAN DO HULA -- NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY at the River House at the Glendale Shoals in Spartanburg SC A Special Holiday Energy Exchange (for Nov & Dec): $25 (Normally $40) Taught by Master Hula Instructor, Kaleo Wheeler Kaleo has been studying with Master Teachers in Hawai'i since the late 80's. Hawaiian Hula helped Kaleo to heal her relationship with her body and she has been sharing it in helping other women in their healing journey for over 30 years throughout the US and Canada.
