Life, Lately...Instagram Style

Happy Aloha Friday! I am enjoying the first day of my 3-day weekend and it's been a productive one, creatively speaking. I am holding myself accountable to my last post and am pretty pleased with myself that I did exactly what I said I would do. I spent all day in the art studio throwin' paint around and I am happy with the results, if I do say so myself. It's been a while since I had paint under my fingernails and a handful of brushes to wash, but it feels good to get creative again. I don't wanna jinx myself, but I think this may be the beginning of how Angie Got Her Groove Back.

01: Affirmation Stones in my studio.
02: Inspiration for my next piece!
03: "Momma, does this bed make my butt look big?"
04: Oh yeah. It's on.
05: Sweet little thing. I forgive you for waking me at the crack of dawn
by walking all over me and making biscuits on my face.
06: New beauty routine warrants spending $10 on this magazine
(and P.S. Girl Crush! Kate Beckinsale is hot)!
07: Dirty Martini = another "Life" Talk
08: WF fruit! It's what's for lunch!
09: I spy a rainbow on our way home from work.
10: Rainbow!
11: A necklace of tuberose...
12: A gift from Phil for Lei Day!
13: Another gorgeous sunset.
14: TWO HOURS of my life that I will never get back.
And I am not happy about the raised rates, either.
15: Am I the only person who thought this movie was just "OK"?
I mean other than the fact that George Clooney is nice eye-candy?

Happy Weekend, friends! Get out and enjoy life. :)

  2. I was NOT stoked on that movie either -- Although I appreciated certain scenes it was way too depressing for my already emotional roller coaster of a life right now!!

  3. I totally agree about that movie. I thought it was okay but I definitely didn't see what all the Oscar buzz was about.

  5. Hooray for painting! I actually started painting this weekend as well! I've always wanted to take up painting (even though I'm not really that good of an artist) so I actually went out and got some canvas paper and acrylic paints and had some fun playing around with paint. My kids even got involved and loved it! Definitely going to incorporate more paint days into my schedule!

  7. Sorry to be the voice of opposition here, but I can't tell you how much I LOVED the movie. So, I respectfully disagree with #15. I must watch the movie at least once or twice a week when I go to sleep. Maybe it's the scenery and the music I love the most. Oh who am I kidding? George is a nice piece of eye candy too.

  8. Just had to add a little something about the movie. It's not that I loved the story or that it was really uplifting, it's the reality that I enjoyed. Sometimes life sucks and doesn't always go the way we want it to. I did appreciate that at the end, George's character realized that things might just be okay and they were going to get through the bad time.
