It's a little easier to swallow when I fill up my tank twice a month, but for The Hubs who drives a 4x4 gas guzzler and fills up his tank approximately every six days? Notsomuch.
HOLY COW! And I complain about paying 3 here. Although I think I may see these prices when I drive to Florida in two weeks...

1. Filling up the tank at nearly $100.00 everytime and I drive a lot. or
2. Filling up the tanks of something that continues to eat while we sleep...aka...Zip and Toy Boy the wonder horses.
Ugh! We don't have them that high but hearing of people filing up 80$ worth once a week makes me cry. :(

Ah I totally agree! My husband's is diesel to top it off... isn't diesel supposed to be cheaper than gas??! It used to be...

ReplyDeleteOMG. I bought some this morning for $3.39, but $4.00 is coming ASAP. I'm doing pretty good to get close to 10 days out of one tank. That would be pretty sweet though to only have to fill up twice a month!

ReplyDeleteYeah, that's a lot to pay for gas. I think if I drove here, it'd be similar.... they go by litres here, not gallons. So, 3.8 litres to a gallon @£1.20 which is $1.95...so yeah. I'm all muddled now.

I know what ya mean with the cost!! Our cost got to $1.20 per litre this week. The sad part is that we produce oil right here in my own very province. Why am I paying so much????

O. M. G! I heard on NPR that the average this summer will be over $4 a gallon (we're around 3.25 in Ohio right now) - I can't imagine having to deal with those prices!!
